Collection Released Summer 2020 | Gouache
The year 2020 brought much fear, confusion, division, and heartache. But the darkness would not triumph, it would not have the final word. Though the circumstances all around seemed to get worse, Em clung to the beauty, peace, and constance of her Jesus and her garden. Collection Released Spring 2020 | Gouache
Inspired by true stories of men and women from American history who hopped aboard a ship and risked much to protect their families, culture, and country. Some paintings were accompanied by their own short story, written by the artist, telling a fictional tale based on the life of real smugglers from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Prohibition era, and the California Gold Rush.
Each of us has secrets smuggled within ourselves, and this collection invites the viewer to question why we each carry them, and for whom. Learn More...

Collection Released Summer 2019 | Watercolor
Commissioned by the Fort Ross Conservancy at Fort Ross State Park in Jenner, California, the artwork on these cards highlights some of the famous flora and fauna of the Northern California coast. The park originally was owned by Em's ancestors, and holds a special place in her heart, so it was an honor to collaborate with park directors and conservationists to create note cards especially for their gift shop.
