 Isabell is running from one fear straight into another as she is discovered aboard a ship full of other smuggled cargo leaving Mexico bound for California. She goes cold within and without as the ship heads far north and her hope begins to die along with a dream of freedom. Perhaps though, she can find hope and a new dream in the friendship of unflappable Manuel, the ship’s young deckhand.
